Moody Gardens

Moody Gardens, began in the mid '80s with only a horse barn and riding arena. The purpose was to begin a hippotherapy riding program for people with head injuries. Today Moody Gardens® is one of the premier educational/recreational facilities in the Southwest. It also provides horticultural therapy, education and employment for persons with a wide range of physical and emotional disabilities. Attractions include the Aquarium Pyramid® , Rainforest Pyramid® , IMAX® 3D Theater , Ridefilm , 4D Special FX Theater®, to name a few.

BestBuy Baybrook store 242 Rocks, The Best Buy team were be on the job April 25th cleaning up Texas beaches , starting from Jamaica Beach to San Luis Pass.They also were on the job at the I-neglect charity Golf Scramble .They do so much more for the community.

Help

Katrina survivors from Mississippi’s Gulf Coast raised $31,364 for Hurricane Ike recovery. Donors specified the money, sent to Galveston County Recovery Fund, should be used to provide housing assistance and fund other essential needs for last year’s storm victims. Residents of South Mississippi know better than anyone what Galveston County residents are going through, said Ricky Mathews, publisher of the Sun Herald newspaper and fundraising organizer.

Astros

We want to thank all the folks who made possible the august Astros home game events at Minute Maid Field in 2008 .Ineglect volunteers chaperoned kids from the Gulf Coast Big Brothers and Big Sisters throughout the Astros 2008 home game season games. We want to say thank you for your commitment .

Just in time for spring break, The 70,000-square-foot indoor area of Schlitterbahn waterpark (www.schlitterbahn.com/gal) will reopen March 14. The tent structure has been replaced by a tropical-theme palapa. Other additions include a new snack shop, free Wi-Fi access, more seating at the wave-pool beach and a wristband for cashless purchases parkwide.

Caravella and Kittley Spring Fling. The Golf Scramble was a success and Kurt is already planning the next one.  The picture shown here is from 2007 . The proceeds from this event will benefit underpriveledged children , orphans , single parent kids , special needs children in the gulf coast area .
